At The Country Inn at Camden Rockport, our number one priority is our guests. We pride ourselves on attentive and hospitable service and making sure our guests have space and comfort to relax and unwind at our mid-coast Camden Maine hotel. We love welcoming guests to where the mountains meet the sea and sharing our favorite haunts while hearing about their own amazing experiences.
A country-style breakfast buffet greets guests each morning. And each afternoon, refreshments are also available.
Of course, it’s not all about food at the Country Inn. Guests can take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool, head to the spa for some pampering and a relaxing massage, relax in front of a fire, or take a soak in a jacuzzi tub. And depending on the season, stroll the grounds, build a snowman, or take in the fall foliage. If you’re traveling with kids or are a kid at heart, you’ll love the outdoor playground equipment.
Our Rockport inn offers 36 rooms in the main house, which is open year-round, and 11 private cottages, which are available May through October. Rooms range from standard queen rooms to king suites and offer fireplaces, jetted tubs, private balconies and patios, handicap accessibility, and pet-friendly options.
Awards & Affiliations
The greatest award we could receive at Country Inn is for a guest to trust us with their getaway or family vacation, leave us a review or comment card letting us know something specific about their stay experience, and for our satisfied guests to tell their friends and family about the hospitality they experienced at the Country Inn.
We also pride ourselves on maintaining the rigorous standards for hospitality certifications – we are a AAA 3-Diamond property and maintain the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, and are proud members of the Maine Tourism Association and the Maine Innkeepers Association.
Along with hospitality specific awards, we maintain a 3 Eco-Leaf rating with i stay green and remain committed to seeking ways to be kinder to the environment while taking care of guests in a comfortable setting. The Country Inn is the first hotel lodging in Rockport to install solar panels and is one of only a handful of properties in the area to receive Maine’s Environmental Leader Certification as a Lodging Business.
The award-winning Country Inn also has designated pet-friendly rooms, is family, couple, and business traveler friendly, and offers handicap accessibility. All of this while being snuggled onto lovely, wooded grounds, between Camden and Rockport harbors along Route One.
Over the past few years, we have implemented many sustainable and green business operations and are proud of our newest green achievement – solar panels. The 24-panel system provides approximately 60% of the hot water used on the property by guests annually.
Along with our 3 Eco-Leaf rating from i stay green, we have been honored to receive the Environmental Award for Green Practices from the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce. And we are committed to seeking more ways to be kinder to the environment.
At The Country Inn at Camden Rockport we reduce and recycle waste, conserve energy and water, and educate our employees and our guests on environmental stewardship. We promote other green businesses and extend a 10% discount for our guests who show a Better World Club card at check-in.
