The room was warm and wonderful. We enjoyed having a separate area with a couch and table so one of us could read or use the computer and not disturb the other. The decor of the room was very tasteful with paintings and wall paper. The bathroom was clean and towels were plentiful. There were kitchen facilities and the wi fi worked very well. The lobby and common areas were cozy and charming with movies and books to use at will. The breakfast was great, cookies in the evening, and friendly staff. My husband and I have been guests of the Country Inn in Rockport on six or seven different occasions. We have never been disappointed. The staff goes “above and beyond” to insure your stay is pleasant. There is a very homey atmosphere and we love the buffet breakfast, tea time, and late afternoon cookie. The rooms are comfortable, nicely furnished, and having a sitting area to watch TV or read reduces the usual “closed-in”feeling prevalent in many hotel/motels. It is also well-located with any easy drive to Camden, a nearby supermarket, and access to many locations, both north and south. We have gotten to know some of the long-time staff, which we find a great asset. We look forward to returning to the Country Inn again.” June 4, 2010
