Happy Spring!

Spring forward and make a reservation at Country Inn at Camden/Rockport. Put a spring in your step up to our country breakfast buffet in the morning. Check our Website specials when you catch Spring Fever. Start Spring Training in our health club. Take a deep breath of a soft Spring breeze as you have a massage. Splash your face in a Spring shower of water in our pool and dance your cares away in a puddle, as you depart the inn knowing you’ll be back to see us.

Staff at the Inn is continually looking for ways to better serve our guests and enhance their stays. Sometimes these are simply replacements or additions such as the new bedsets, microwaves and DVD players that were added over the last year. Other improvements are consumable, like one of Cathy’s new desert recipes for afternoon tea. It is our pleasure to create a quality experience for all our friends that stay with us.

This winter major renovations of the pool area have been accomplished. These included new skylights and interior finish in the hot tub area, and a new environmental system to reduce humidity and increase comfort in the pool room. Additional benefits are that the building will be better maintained, and energy consumption will be reduced, so the project is a win win, the best kind.

We are pleased that many of our guests are families that visit to learn about and experience the midcoast area. This season we will be expanding offerings with partners in  the area for activities, including sailing trips, bicycle rentals, tours of local wineries, and museums. We will be reconstructing our playground area as well to provide a safe and secure place to let the kids run free for a bit. And of course fun in the pool is always an option, sunny days or less sunny (only a few in Maine).

We are fortunate to have many canine friends at the Inn as well. They will be treated to their own beds and we are proud to now offer Barkwheat orgainic treats on their pillows. Our grounds are a great place for the morning walk and we have installed comfort stations at the front and rear of the hotel. Also we are just across the street from Merryspring Nature Center, a beautiful nature park where dogs can run lead free.
